Come join us for a picture book story and planting activity with the LAGG Garden Keepers!

A copy of the book will be given to attending children, based on supply.

Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

This story is about a little girl who lives in an apartment building in a city but wants to grow vegetables. She gets her grandmother’s help to get seeds and approaches the apartment owner to let her use a tiny patch of dirt in front to start a vegetable garden. She then approaches businesses on the street and other people to start growing vegetables on their street.

NOTE: This is an outdoor event, so please dress accordingly, and subject to weather.
