To celebrate the Spring Equinox (which is actually on March 20th) and all that nature provides, our neighbor Good Earth Community Garden is holding a day of garden events.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:

2:00 Parking for Pollinators
Our native flora on Boden Street parkway is beneficial as pollinators for moths, beetles, butterflies, birds, flies, bees and bats.

2:45 Bee Active for Bees: A Taste of Honey
The intrigue behind the magic of sweetness from our hone beehive.

3:15 The Secret Life of Plants: Culinary and Medicinal Plants at the Good Earth
Many plants grown at Good Earth might not be normally be known as something to use in the kitchen or as medicine. Our plants come from different regions of our planet and represent a diverse range of cultures.

4:00 Mindfulness
What we say and what we do; let's explore and be aware of how we react and communicate with all that's around us.
