Please join us for another cultural sharing event in the LA Green Grounds Nishida Teaching Garden. 

Bring a remembrance of your loved one who has left our earthly presence — a copy of their photo*, a  special belonging of theirs, their favorite food, etc. — to the garden Sunday, November 3, 3:00-5:00 pm**.  We will be honoring them and all of our passed loved one during our observance of el Día de los Muertos. You can make paper flowers and add your memento for display that afternoon to the ofrenda we'll have set up. 

We'll share personal stories and cultural traditions in appreciation to those who have passed and grow closer together. 

Then we'll break bread over a potluck - please bring a dish to share if you wish. 

We'll be making ornaments Wednesday 10/30 and Saturday 11/2 from 10am - noon, if you'd like to join us!

*Please bring a photocopy of your photograph - we don't want your original to get lost or ruined.

** Daylight Savings Time will end Nov. 3, so don't forget to reset your clock and arrive accordingly.
