Good Earth Community Garden Founding Diggers Invitation to MLK Work Day

LAGG diggers! We'll be celebrating Martin Luther King, Jr. by continuing our creation of the LAGG teaching garden at the Good Earth Community Garden. Bring your enthusiasm and warm clothes. We'll be planting sugar peas, scarlet runner beans, along the cyclone fence (improve the view), and sunflower seeds - imagine them in March! Fava beans go in the orchard site to start providing nitrogen.

We'll also turn that trashed parkway along Carmona, across from the garden, into a beautiful border of succulent plantings and more sunflowers.

Short day - but it's another step to get our garden ready for teaching.

30 Volunteers needed - please sign up now!

Looking forward to seeing you all!
