Work in community garden: Make pollinator/bee houses, sow flower seeds for butterflies and hummingbirds; pull weeds, plant, lay mulch and wood chip on paths; adjust succulent garden across the street to hold water better (make mounds, water flow paths, etc.)

Be sure to wear closed-toe shoes, a hat, sunscreen, and bring your own zero-waste water container for drinking.

Additional Request: Need one or two people with a truck(s) to pick up wood chips from a nearby nursery and bring to the garden (Carmona Ave & Boden St, Los Angeles 90016) Saturday morning, or on the Thursday or Friday before.  Please let Masha know by calling 213-373-1913 or emailing [email protected].
