You're invited to a free Smart Gardening Workshop by the County of Los Angeles.
Beginner workshops provide hands-on instruction on the basic techniques of backyard composting, worm composting, water-wise gardening, and grasscycling. No reservation needed.
The class is free, but there is a $9 entrance fee for the South Coast Botanic Garden. (Tour the beautiful garden - build on a landfill - after the class.)
