ANNOUNCING: LA Green Grounds will be providing our first "hybrid" LA Victory Garden class this fall - online and in-person instruction

Learn how to grow fruits and vegetables in your backyard. Running from Sundays, 9/27/2020 - 10/24/2020, presentations, lectures and demos will be given virtually via Zoom and hands-on instructions will be held in the LA Green Grounds Teaching Garden in South Los Angeles.

You will learn how to create your own edible garden for fresh, organic produce by learning how to:

• Create good soil out of your current
• What, how and when to plant
• How much and how often to add compost and water
• Manage insect pests and encourage "good bugs"
• Increase yield and add variety

GROUP B SCHEDULE:  

9/27, Sunday 1-3 pm online

10/4, Sunday 1-3 pm online

10/17, Saturday 1-4 pm at the LAGG Teaching Garden

10/24, Saturday 1-4 pm at the LAGG Teaching Garden

CLASS FEE: 

$55 for series

$25 discounted rate for those experiencing economic hardship

CANCELLATION POLICY:

To ensure as many individuals can take advantage of this learning opportunity as possible, any vacated slots due to cancellations will be filled as possible.  Therefore, any cancellations received after 9/18 will not be refunded unless we are able to backfill vacancy.  Cancellations received no later than 9/18 will be a full refund.
