Call for Volunteers:

Join LA Green Grounds and other community organizations as we celebrate National Arbor Day!  

LAGG will have a booth at the resource fair where it will be doing a paper pot seedling workshop and discussing how to plant edible gardens and promoting the new teaching garden. In tandem with the resource fair, City Plants is also hosting a tree planting ceremony as part of initiative to plant more than 600 trees along the Vermont corridor in South LA. Councilmember Marqueece Harris-Dawson, the Bureau of Sanitation, City Plants, the Department of Water & Power, Los Angeles Conservation Corps, and CALFIRE will also be joining in on the celebration!

We need four volunteers to help at the booth!
