Come to LAGG's Deciduous Fruit Tree Pruning Workshop

Activity:

• Introduction to basic pruning techniques and principles.
• Instruction on care and use of pruning tools, safety, avoiding damage to trees.
• Instructions specific to specific fruit tree varieties.
• Two hours of practice in pruning, handling of trimmings.

Come Prepared:

• Wear sensible clothes and shoes, sun screen, hat (compact and not floppy).
• Bring gloves since many citrus trees have thorns
• Bring your own pruning tools (hand clippers; loppers and saw if you have)
• Bring snacks for yourself, or to share
• Bring your reusable water bottle.
