Welcome to our first Gardening Workshop at Good Earth Community Garden.
L.A. Green Grounds has started a teaching garden at the Good Earth Community Garden, at the East end of Carmona and Boden Streets.
On January 2, 2016, 35 L.A. Green Grounds volunteers cleared out trash, broken glass, and dog poop from this vacant lot; then worked hard hauling rich compost and mulch to create vegetable garden beds, a future fruit tree orchard, and a meeting area.
SOIL and PLANTING the VEGETABLES THAT LOVE IT!
MARCH 5, 2016, 10:00 a.m. - Noon
After a short lesson, you will actually get you hands into that soil, learn how to plant strawberries and sow some seeds.
What does the class cost? It's FREE! Donations gratefully accepted.
