Workshop on California Native Plants

What native plants fit in my city garden?

Note: jacranda tree pictured above are native to South America

Fall is a good time to add some native plants to your garden.

Learn about the benefits of native plants in your garden for you, for your neighborhood and for the urban ecosystem. Come look at some different species, find out about their growing habits, the care they need, and let us know your questions and your worries.

LAGG Founder Florence Nishida, Torie Lee and Patricia Bijvoet will tell you about the value of different species, where they are from, how long they have been around and they will give some useful tips about how to let your garden thrive with more natives.

Space is limited, so be sure to reserve your spot below. If you need to cancel, please let us know (there will be a link in your confirmation email as well), so someone else can take advantage of this free workshop.

We suggest you wear sunscreen and bring a refillable water bottle.
