Identifying Local Mushrooms

The Greater Los Angeles area is full of great places to hike, and with the coming rains you are bound to see mushrooms along the trail. If you have ever wondered if the fungi you are passing on the trail are poisonous or savory, this class can help. (always consult an expert before eating wild collected foods) 

Instructor: Florence Nishida, local mycologist, research associate at the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County, and certified master gardener.
