The Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County is excited to announce that we are preparing for our 4th Annual L.A. Nature Fest to be held on March 17th & 18th, 2018. Over the weekend the Natural History Museum will present its two-day festival celebrating L.A.’s impressive biodiversity. Explore National History Museum’s research and collections with our scientists, connect with amazing local organizations, participate in citizen science projects, and dig into the Nature Gardens with family-friendly workshops, activities and performances.
The LA Nature Fest will share the city of Los Angeles with many interesting animal neighbors, from the Griffith Park mountain lion to the birds in the Nature Gardens. Come and explore the wild side of Los Angeles at NHMLA. Meet an opossum, do lunch with a rattlesnake, and go for a walk with Tank, the giant tortoise. Museum scientists will be on hand to answer your questions about snails, bugs, birds, and all things city nature.
